Director David Ayer pretty much broke the internet the other week when he Tweeted our first look at Jared Leto as The Joker in the upcoming, enormously anticipated Suicide Squad, causing a fair bit of controversy because of the distinctive, tattoo-laden look (which apparently is only for that pic and will NOT actually be on him in the film).

And just as the fanboy hysteria of The Joker pic has finally calmed down, Ayer has started it all up again by Tweeting another promo pic for the movie, this time giving us a look at the main cast (curiously minus The Joker) together in full costume. And yes, dear fans, that includes Margot Robbie as fan-favourite Harley Quinn.

Check out the pic below in all its glory:

In case you’re not immediately familiar, the Squad left to right are: Adam Beach as Slipknot, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Karen Fukuhara as Katana, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Will Smith as Deadshot, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc and Jay Hernandez as El Diablo.

I have to just say… Harley Quinn… WOW.

The Joker is conspicuous by his absence but then again we don’t quite know yet how exactly he’s going to fit into the squad as he’s technically not an official part of the team; will it be the case that he is the enemy whom this group of villains have in common? Who knows but I’m certainly excited to find out.

In addition to the above Suicide Squad cast pic, we also have a single character image of Will Smith in full costume as the deadly Deadshot. Check it out below!

will-smith-deadshot-suicide-squadThe fact that Smith himself gave out the first Deadshot image not long after Ayer let the the full cast photo out of the bag suggests we have more to come, maybe with each cast member revealing their own character image. Watch this space!

Suicide Squad is set for release on August 5th, 2016.
